Ways to adjust the route

Use a taxi from Victoria and confirm the drop-off near the booked accommodation.
1
Use a taxi for the cross-island luggage transfer.

Gozo rewards a slower stay because most bus journeys connect through Victoria and the coast is spread around the island. Four hotel nights allow one central day, one western outing and one northern or eastern choice without racing between bus stops.

Use Victoria as the island interchange

The Citadel and town deserve their own measured day. Victoria also makes the most practical bus reference, even when the accommodation is elsewhere.

Give Dwejra or Xlendi a separate west-coast day

Choose the exposed landscape at Dwejra or a slower Xlendi visit first, then add the other only when the bus timetable and weather leave enough margin.

Choose one northern coast plan

Marsalforn, the salt-pan coast and nearby villages form a different outing. Walking between them needs daylight, suitable weather and a route that avoids unsafe road edges.

Five days based on Gozo

Day 1 crosses to Gozo, day 2 covers Victoria, day 3 uses the west coast, day 4 selects one northern or eastern area, and day 5 returns by the confirmed ferry.

Protect both ferry days

Allow for the bus to Mġarr Harbour, boarding and weather. Do not place the return crossing inside a tight flight or airport connection.
